Hi, I’m Ella — the heart behind EatJoyCo.

I’m a dessert lover, home baker, and the person behind every recipe, photo, and word you’ll find on this website. EatJoyCo was born out of my deep belief that life is simply better with a little sweetness in it — and that great desserts don’t have to be complicated to be absolutely wonderful.

My Story

My love for baking started in the kitchen as a child, watching and learning how a handful of simple ingredients could be transformed into something truly magical. From licking the brownie batter off the spoon to carefully decorating my first birthday cake, I fell in love with the whole experience — the smells, the textures, the joy on people’s faces when they took that first bite.

Over the years, I taught myself everything I could about baking — experimenting with recipes, making plenty of mistakes, and learning something new with every batch. What started as a personal passion eventually became EatJoyCo, a place where I could share everything I’ve learned with people who love desserts just as much as I do.

What I Make

On EatJoyCo, I share the kinds of recipes I actually make at home — easy dessert recipes that don’t require fancy equipment or hard-to-find ingredients, homemade cakes and cookies that taste like they came from a bakery, no-bake treats for those days when you want something sweet without turning on the oven, and crowd-pleasing sweets that disappear fast at every gathering.

Every single recipe on this site has been made, tested, and approved in my own kitchen. I write every post myself, with real steps, honest notes, and tips from my own experience — so you can feel confident every time you try something new.

My Philosophy

I believe baking should bring you joy, not stress. I believe simple recipes can be just as impressive as complicated ones. And I believe that a homemade dessert, no matter how big or small, is one of the most loving things you can offer someone.
